Mission Statement - 

The mission of McNeil High School Counseling Department is to provide ALL students with access to comprehensive counseling services. We aim to help create EXCELLENCE within students by helping achieve academic success, develop career awareness, and promote social-emotional wellbeing. Our counselors collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to support EACH student’s needs and goals to help them aim for success within a global community. 

Vision Statement -

McNeil High School Counseling Department's vision is for every student to feel empowered, supported, and prepared to reach their full potential. We envision a school community where all students have access to dedicated counseling services that help them thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and in planning for their futures. Our vision is to provide these services in a way that helps their goals become REALISTIC and ACHIEVABLE outcomes. Through a comprehensive counseling program and strong collaboration, we strive for all students to graduate with the skills and self-awareness to successfully navigate life’s opportunities and challenges with the highest level of problem solving skills and coping strategies.
