COVID-19 and virtual instruction...We can do this together :)

Hello!

I know these are scary times, but we are going to get through this together! I will be in contact with all of you next week to help facilitate our "closed with instruction" roll out. There will be plenty of resources, assignments/lessons, and some videos as well for students to access, though they will be working at their own pace and there will be no "synchronous" teaching (no live-feed video forums). Please check out the links below to helpful information, including my google classrooms. Do please check your email as well heading into next week (April 6-10) for updates and information from both the district and from me. Here's what the district says about the asynchronous learning model that we will be rolling out starting April 6th;

"Our teacher-facilitated instruction, or asynchronous learning, is the approach many colleges and universities use for online instruction. Teachers design and post assignments, which students complete on their own schedule and at their own pace. Once the assignment is completed, teachers provide the student with the necessary feedback and encouragement. Teachers will also have “office hours” when they are available to help students."

Please see the link below for instructions on how to access my GOOGLE CLASSROOMS and other resources!
