I have taught in several different places, many different grade levels, and I am the MOST excited about being at CTMS! Our cheer squad is FANTASTIC! We strive to be a UNITED SQUAD and have lots of FUN while we SHOW SCHOOL SPIRIT! CTMS Cheer maintains a strong STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE. My personal belief is a combination of: a focus on safety, clear communication with all stakeholders, and advancement of cheer/dance/community involvement will make for a well-rounded prepared cheer squad.

Coach's thoughts
As a former HS/college cheerleader and HS JV cheer coach I am super excited to get back into cheer gear! I believe that the sisterhood built in cheer goes further than athletics and school spirit. While striving for excellence on the sidelines is a big focus in cheer, we also want to remember that being great ambassadors of school spirit, positivity and being role models is important. I strongly believe that cheer should be fun and that the bonds the students make within the squad is just as important as the athletic side of cheer. I am looking forward to helping facilitate a fun filled school year of cheer activities. Lets go Cougs!!!!
