Ms. Anarra Whitcher thrilled to be taking over as director of the Chisholm Trail Middle School Choir Program. As a deep lover of choral music, Ms. Whitcher has spent the last three years as the  Associate Director of choirs at Round Rock High School. In addition to her three concert choirs, Ms. Whitcher directed RRHS’s treble show choir legacy and helped with the school musicals, and musical director! 

Ms. Whitcher graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. While at Texas State, Ms. Whitcher was a member of the Texas State Chorale, and was lucky enough to perform at both TMEA and ACDA Conventions. 

Ms. Whitcher aims to never stop learning and believes that continuing to set goals as a student herself contributes towards being an effective teacher for her students! During her free time Whitcher enjoys reading, playing board games, and spending time with her fur babies . Ms. Whitcher is very excited to work with all of the CTMS Choir students and can not wait to make some beautiful music!
