NOBILITY
Ensemble Dance Performance Team
The Nobility Dance Team is currently under the co-direction of
Lisa Herrin and Amanda Lowin.

Students utilize a variety of dance forms to perform in various events with a lower cost and time commitment level than Royalty. Nobility involves minimal rehearsals and performances outside the school day and is a single-blocked class. Required- info meetings, clinics, and auditions are held in February or March and are open to all 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.
Auditions- Required
A student (hopeful) and a parent must attend the required audition meeting that reviews the audition process and application. Current 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th grade students are eligible to audition for the team. Auditions include technical progressions, and a jazz/hip hop routine. The team will be selected by an independent panel of adjudicators. The directors and administration are present during auditions to organize and facilitate the event. Once selected, the student will be on the Nobility Dance Team starting the new school year.
Membership
A member of the team will remain a member until they graduate as long as the rules and regulations are met. Regardless of classification, once a student chooses to resign from the team, it will be up to the directors' and administrators' discretion whether they will be allowed back on the team.
The number of members on the team will vary annually.

ROYALTY
Drill Dance Performance Team
The Royalty Dance Team is currently under the direction of
Stevie McCall (Director) and Amanda Lowin (Assistant Director).

Students perform a variety of dance forms in a highly visible and competitive organization. Royalty involves extensive rehearsals and performances outside of the school day, and a double-blocked 1st/5th class period.
*Required- info meetings, clinics, and auditions are held in November or December and are open to all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders.
Auditions
A student (hopeful) and a parent must attend the required audition meeting that reviews the audition process and application. Current 9th, 10th, 11th grade students are eligible to audition for the team. Auditions include technical progressions including leaps, turns, and kicks, a jazz/hip hop routine, and a contemporary/lyrical routine. The team will be selected by an independent panel of adjudicators. The directors and administration are present during auditions to organize and facilitate the event. Once selected, the students will be placed into a "Mini Royalty" class in the Spring Semester and will officially begin on the team in May.
