Course Description

The leadership class will provide students with the tools and knowledge to become more effective leaders and role models to their peers. They will learn what it takes to be a leader, how to grow as a leader, and ways to implement leadership skills in their daily life. Students will have the opportunity to participate in various service projects throughout the year.

Grades and Participation

Students will participate in training and activities each day which involve team building and cooperative decision making. They will share, discuss, and create initiatives which they can implement on campus to create a more inclusive environment for all students. Daily participation in group activities and daily work is important for success in the class!

Formative (lesson quizzes, homework, daily work) - 70%

Summative (unit exams/projects) - 30%

Leadership students will need the following:

1. Paper

2. Pencil/Pen

3. Good attitude

4. Eagerness to learn and create
