About me

Welcome to 8th Grade US History!

I'm looking forward to pushing you to learn about US History and how the past impacts the beliefs and actions of people today.

Before coming to Cedar Valley, I taught US History at Hernandez Middle School from 2011-2014, preceded by two years at Stony Point HS teaching Seniors and Freshmen.

Originally from Cleveland Ohio, I graduated from Ohio State University with degrees in History and Secondary Education.

In my spare time I volunteer to build houses with Austin Habitat for Humanity, I enjoy reading, Paintball, scuba, sky diving, and eating.
