The Austin Public library has classes called Talk Time for adults who want to practice speaking English. It seems that these classes are offered at the Old Quarry, Howson, St. John, Southeast, Little Walnut Creek, and Terrazas libraries. They are free to attend.

Several libraries also have a New Immigrant Center where people can get help with immigration and citizen info. They also seem to have more hi-low books at these. They also offer citizen classes at some libraries. It looks like the Little Walnut Creek or St. Johns are the closest libraries to our location with these services.
