Katarina Jonholt joined the Ross School faculty in the Fall of 2004 with teaching experience from Mill Valley Middle School and the University of San Francisco. In her pre-teaching days she was, among many other things, a journalist and a writer/editor in the field of public relations. Most of all, she loves to read and write poetry and run on the trails of Mount Tam. Ms. Jonholt holds a B.A. in journalism from San Jose State University, an M.A. in writing from the University of San Francisco, and a language arts teaching credential from Dominican University. She has to admit she feels a bit pretentious writing about herself in the third person, but she takes comfort in the fact that her students know what "the third person" means. Ms. Jonholt lives in San Anselmo with her son, Remy. Her other son, Cody, lives in Oregon. Remy and Cody are both graduates of Ross School!
