Band Backer Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the RHHS chorus room
The purpose of the Rocky Hill High School Band Backers' Association is to support the activities and interests of the RHHS Band and Visual Ensemble.
The objectives of this non-profit organization are:
1. To effect and maintain an enthusiastic interest in the RHHS Band program.
2. To lend all possible support, both moral and financial, to the RHHS Band program.
3. To build and maintain an organization that will help promote the general activities of the RHHS Band program

RHHS BAND-BACKERS ASSOCIATION
Executive Board Positions
PRESIDENT: Communicate and offer support to the Director of Bands, schedule all band-backer meetings, create meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, review minutes from secretary for website, communicate with Executive Board and all band families.
VICE PRESIDENT: Facilitate meetings in absence of president, contribute meeting agenda items as needed, and assist the president.
HISTORIAN + PUBLICITY: Promote band activities through use of local media. Keep media generated by the band in an organized fashion to keep records of the band’s events year by year.
QUARTERMASTER: Manage and arrange for the transportation of band instruments and equipment to/from band events.
UNIFORMS: Coordinate and distribute uniforms to all band members, oversee care and maintenance, and manage inventory of all uniforms and related accessories.
FUNDRAISING: Evaluate potential fundraising opportunities and coordinate fundraisers throughout the year.
BAND-GEAR: Coordinate all band-gear orders for the marching band. Need to communicate with outside vendors.
RHHS/GMS COMMUNICATIONS: Help communicate our band events, such as the pasta supper, to the middle school band community through the GMS band director and offer support as needed.
