Concert Band

Concert Band is open to any student in grades 9-12 who plays a Woodwind, Brass, or Percussion Brass Instrument.  Concert Band is a club and rehearses during the "Club" period.  There is no academic credit for being a member of Concert Band.

The purpose of Concert Band is to give an opportunity to all students regardless of ability a chance to perform in a large-group ensemble.  Some students play a secondary instrument while others perform on their main instrument in Concert Band.  Membership for Concert Band is done through a yearly sign-up on the club listings at the Senior High School.

Public Performances include a Holiday Concert in December and a Spring Concert in April or May typically held on the weekend.  Students must attend rehearsals and performances to maintain membership in the Concert Band.
