Homework

For Homework, students have access to all current assignments and due dates on Google Classroom.  As a parent or guardian wishes to see this information, there are two options.  First option, download Google Classroom onto your Smart Device and have your student log  into their account on your phone so you can see the live & update feed (BEST OPTION).  Or you can please send me your email address to jkenfield@rlfedu.org and I will invite you to the group.  Once invited you are able to choose how frequent you want to receive emails with updates on postings of assignments from either weekly or daily.  I post and update all homework assignments and the due dates on this system.  

• Homework Policies:

  • • All homework will be posted on Google Classroom with the following:

      • Type of homework

      •  Points

      • Due date & time

    • Any Online assignments will have a due time of 11:59 PM on the date stated, unless otherwise stated.

    • Any paper assignments will be due at the beginning of the class period on the date given.

      • Suggested to do all hard copy homework in pencil.  If done in pen, all mistakes must be corrected neatly.  If not, assignments will not be accepted!

    • If caught cheating a zero will be given on that particular assignment to all participants.

    • Late Work for Paper assignments

      • 1 day late = 50% credit

      • 2 or more days late = 0% credit

      • Unless prior arrangements have been made or absences have occurred.

    • Late is described as the moment immediately following the collection of the assignments. 

    • Late Work (Online Assignments)

      • • No late work will be allowed as each assignment has a specific cut off time.

    • No name on a paper will result in a 25% deduction of score earned.
