Purpose Statement

The Ridgefield School District libraries’ purpose is two-fold: to instill a life-long love of reading, and to create a community of critical thinkers who can efficiently use, evaluate, and produce information in the 21st century.

Library Policies

Books and other library materials are due in two weeks.

If books are overdue, notices are given to students on their library day. We also send out notices during grading periods. There is no charge for overdue books; however, it is necessary to pay for or replace lost and damaged books. Lost book fines may be paid in the library or the school office.
