Meet the Teacher

        I would like to begin by saying what a pleasure it is to have your child in my classroom.  I hope s/he will have a great school year!   

        In December 2006, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University.  Becoming an elementary school teacher has always been my desire.  Throughout my high school and college experiences, I have had many opportunities to visit elementary classrooms and gain the knowledge I need to become a positive, helpful, creative, and motivated educator.  The ability to reach out to each student and educate him/her to the best of his/her ability fulfills my vision of becoming an effective teacher.  Each of my past experiences has been extremely rewarding and memorable.  I look forward to growing and learning as an educator as I begin my seventeenth year of teaching.  I will make sure I provide your child with a safe, nurturing, positive, and encouraging environment; your child is my main priority.
