Preschool News
Greetings from the Preschool. Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 School Year. September was full of excitement as summer ended and we welcomed our little ones through the doors for our first day of school. Our preschool rooms are filled with excited, very curious children. The children are filled with stories about their friends and families. We have been busy learning about God’s world around us. We explored our five senses, learned about the parts of the apple, and discovered that God hid a star inside apples. Pastor helped teach us about how God created the world and then said it was very good. We even sang “The Hippo Song” with Pastor. It was funny watching him stamp around like a hippopotamus.
As fall approaches, the children will continue to explore the world God made. We had fun apple picking and pumpkin picking. We also will have our annual Happy Character Parade and Harvest Festival on October 30th. The classroom bulletin boards are filled with pumpkins, scarecrows, and other fall artwork. We are learning to recognize and write our names. We are matching upper and lower case letters, count, recognize numbers, and make patterns. We had a special visit from Newton Fire Department to help us learn about Fire Safety.
It is always fun at Redeemer Preschool! We are so happy that so many new students have joined our Redeemer Family this year. We look forward to a new year filled with joy, laughter, and God’s love. Everyday there are wonderful learning experiences happening at Redeemer Preschool.
