Meet the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Elaine MacMahon, and I am the new fifth grade teacher at Redeemer. This is my 18th year of teaching. I have taught elementary, intermediate and middle school in four different states, in both religious and public school settings. I was born in Pittsburgh, and my husband and I always hoped to move back to Pittsburgh when our twin sons graduated from high school. We followed our dream, and settled in Mount Lebanon in 2020. Our sons are seniors in college, and we live with our pet cat Tucker. I love spending time with my family, traveling, going to Penn State football games and cooking!
