Our volunteer for the month of May is John Stroh. Many of you are probably already familiar with his work as he is the owner of JS Sign & Awning that makes lot of the signs that you see around town. John, his family and his business are also strong community supporters and they are a valued sponsor of RCHS. Over the years John has graciously designed, printed and donated all of the banners and signs that we have used at events at parades. When we put a call out for anyone willing to donate some shelves for our storage area John stepped up and donated several commercial-grade metal storage units. John has also helped us out when we've had some rather non-traditional needs. For example, Petco replaced their on-site cat adoption kennels with some new wood ones but unfortunately our cats were damaging them when they missed their litter box. In response John had his shop custom fabricate some metal 'pee' guards and pans which not only protect the kennels but also make them much easier to clean. That's just a small sample of some of the ways John has helped us but on top of all of that he and his family have also provided a loving forever home to two former RCHS foster dogs.
We greatly value our relationship with John and JS Sign and can’t thank them enough for their continued support of RCHS and our mission!
