How are you feeling today?
When you feel like you want to scream and you do !
Sometimes we need space and quiet. Sometimes
we need to deal with our feelings and emotions but
are not sure how to do that.
All feelings are normal and ok!
Sometimes we have more then one feeling at the same time!
I have heard from several of you who are having lots of mixed feelings.
You are not alone!
Find that quiet, happy spot; your spot!
( It could be in your room, outside; by a favorite tree or stream)
When you have taken a little time to calm down,
talk about it with parents, brother, sister, grandparent OR

Homemade Stress/ Sensory Ball
Sometimes we need something to to manipulate and hold on to. This helps us deal with our feelings . Try this fun activity
. It is calming to create, as well as to use when trying to deal with our many feelings.
Materials Needed
· 1 can of Play-Doh for each stress ball you plan make
· (You can also use rice to get a different texture)
· 12″ Latex Balloons
· Sharpie Marker
Directions:
1. Roll out your play dough into a long, thin line. (I use one tub of dough per balloon)
2. Stretch your balloon as wide as you can and stuff the play dough inside.
( children will need help with this part.)
3. Press the filled balloon to make it flat and get as much air out as possible. Tie it off with a knot.
4. Add a face using your sharpie and you’re finished!
