Sculpture Arts

This class explores three-dimensional work and will aim to build skills relevant to theatrical crafts. Much of the course will focus on building sculpting skills through work with oil-based clay. This course will also introduce basic molding and casting skills. We will explore how one can translate the elements and principles of design into three dimensional artwork through our relief sculpture and assemblage projects. These projects will include an introduction to the critique process.
