Expectations

Everyone must RESPECT the LEARNING and SAFETY of others!

Every rule you can think of will fall into this one basic rule including, but not limited to:

• • Completing your work every day (classwork, homework)

  • Coming to school prepared every day.

  • Doing your personal best every day.

You must bring your CHROMEBOOK to school with you every day. We will be using this in our learning every day in math class.

PENCILS PLEASE! Remember to do all your work for math in pencil. This includes any classwork, homework, quiz, test, etc. We only use a pen to grade in math class. Please circle/box or highlight your answer to help make correcting easier.

Classwork and Homework make up:

Math 7 - 40% of your grade.

Pre-Alg- 30% of your grade.

SHOW EVIDENCE - PROVE YOU ARE RIGHT! All work needs to be shown to be considered for full credit. Make this a habit by showing your work on all your math assignments! Why? Showing your work is the same as showing your math thinking!

Tests and Quizzes make up:

Math 7 - 60% of your grade.

Pre-Alg- 70% of your grade.

Remember, if you are absent it is your responsibility

to find out what needs to be made up. For every day absent,

you are given that many days to turn in any work missed

during the absence. Look on the website calendar, or

find it on the agenda board in class, or

ask a peer in class to copy their notes.
