About Me

I am a Phoenix native and grew up in the Paradise Valley School District, graduating from Paradise Valley High School.  I then went on to higher education at Northern Arizona University where I earned my bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics education and minor in psychology. I completed my masters degree in gifted education from Arizona State University. This is my 13th year teaching. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. My wife and I have one daughter who was born December 9, 2022. I am also a volunteer youth leader at my church.  

I believe education is the key to success. As a teacher I want to motivate my students to take risks to achieve their goals. I want my students to take responsibility for their learning in a positive classroom community. My classroom will be an active environment where students can come to learn and feel safe.
