PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING WITH YOUR NAME!
1. Good attitude! Come to class ready to learn. This year 80% is NEW to you!
2. A binder or folder dedicated to math.
3. PENCILS!! Please have PLENTY! ALL work is done in pencil
4. Binder paper
5. Ruler (helpful)
6. Scissors (helpful to have. label with your name)
7. 12 count box of colored pencils
8. Pencil sharpener with a receptacle.
9. Kleenex These are ALWAYS NEEDED and appreciated
(Allergies/colds last all year so tissues are always needed!)
10. Calculator (SEE BELOW for guidance) (See Mrs. Saeli if purchasing is not possible for your family)
11. Black dry erase markers (keep 2 in your backpack) Label with your name.
12. Headphones (WIRED Required) to use with your chromebook.
HONORS GEOMETRY students need a STURDY compass for constructions.

Calculator Guidance
Label with your name!
Starter: A scientific dollar store calculator will work for basic calculations. Needs a square root button! An x squared button is very helpful! ($1) Good for about a year.
Middle: The TI30X series calculator is a great step up. Good to use for most high school math classes. ($8-15)

HONORS GEOMETRY STUDENTS ONLY
Please purchase a graph paper notebook. In addition to the supplies above, I suggest purchasing a graphing calculator (TI 84 model, or similar TI product). This is pricey but will carry you through HS and beyond.

You will also need to purchase a sturdy compass (option 1) (option 2) for constructions in geometry. The photo below is of a suggested product. Do not get a cheap plastic ballbearing type as they slip, causing frustration, which can make constructions very difficult. Accuracy is key for constructions in Honors Geometry.
