Everybody is a genius.
But, if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.

The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!
Welcome to 8th grade, class of 2027! During the year our communication and materials will be found inside our Google Classroom.
Dear Parents and Students of 2023-24, my rising 8th graders,
I look forward to a wonderful year together. I wish you each the best experience in your last year of middle school! I’m excited to meet you
Students…some advice for doing well in math this year: Come to class prepared and ready to learn (pencils, math folder, charged Chromebook) Study hard, do your homework, ask questions in class, and be involved. There is a lot of new material this year and you will be challenged, but don't be intimidated.
Parents...there are many new concepts we cover this year. Dedication to math is key to your 8th grader doing well. Homework is worth only 25% of their grade and many quarter grades drop in 8th grade from what was earned in 7th grade. Please check in with your student to see that homework is being CHECKED during the daily review in class so they are learning from any mistakes. Practice makes permanent.
Together we can make it a successful year for all!
Welcome class of 2028!
~Mrs. Saeli
