Task: create a movie using at least hyperstudio and imovie to explain how the Titanic sunk.

You will need to include:

* Detailed graphics and audio to show how the Titanic sunk.

* A detailed voice over that describes the STAGES of the sinking of the Titanic.

Term 1

Animal Life Cycle

Task: create a movie using at least hyperstudio and imovie to show the life cycle of an animal we have in New Zealand that metamorphosises.

You will need to include:

* Detailed graphics and audio to show stages of the life

cycle

* A description of what the animal looks like, where the

animal lives, how it moves and what it eats at each

stage

* Information about the special adaptations it has to

survive

Our Native Trees

Task: You are going to give people in our community information about the native trees that grow in our local environment. This will include:

A description of the plant/tree

Information about the environment they live in and how he plant/tree grows

Adaptations the plant/tree has to live well in this environment

Connections to myths or stories, historical events or issues relating to the plant/tree
