PART ONE:
Choose a book you think you would like to make a podcast of.
Open the Podcasting Sheet 1 template and make a copy. Fill out the name of the book and author. As you are reading your book you need to be recording the main events (plot). Also you need to fill in information about the main characters and setting. These notes will help you when it comes to writing your script. PART TWO:
When you have completed reading your book and have completed the sheet summarising
the main parts you are ready to write your script. Open the KPE template and make a copy. Now open your notes from Part One and copy and paste them into the script document. From these main ideas of the plot you need to make it into a dialogue between a DJ asking questions about the story and a reviewer answering. Remember though you don't want to give the whole story away so don't include too much information about what happens at the end. When you have finished you are ready to conference. Send me an email to let me know.PART THREE:When you have had your podcast conferenced you are ready to practise and record. Choose someone to be your D.J. Get your script printed and start practising with your D.J. You will need to book the podcasting room and choose someone to be a technician for you. Once your podcast has been recorded you need to get someone to take photos of you and your D.J. with the book. Take about 30 photos. If you have some spare time you might like to draw some illustrations of the story or make an animation to go with your podcast.
