Pt England School is using the STRIDE Coaching Model. (See attached documents)
Our Focii for coaching in 2014 are:
Inquiry into Classrooms of High Cognitive Engagement
Inquiry into teaching practice in regard to te reo me ona tikanga Maori
Our minimum requirement coaching cycle is:
1 paid release observation/teacher/term
2 coaching conversations/teacher/term, at least one of which will be held in Team Meeting time. Release time will not be specially provided for these conversations
Peer 2 Peer Coaching Pairs:
Tracey has Helen King as her mentor as she completes PRT 1 & 2
Rachel T has Delwyn as her mentor as she completes PRT 1 & 2
Karen has Michelle as her mentor as she completes PRT 1 & 2
Matt has Juanita as her mentor as she completes PRT 1 & 2
Monique has Toni as her mentor as she completes PRT 1 & 2
The attached Forms are here for you to be used if you would like them in paper form. Alternatively they have all been shared with you as Google Docs. When you have completed one of these Coaching records they need to be shared with your Team Leader, Delwyn and Russell.
