Dr G RAJESHKUMAR

Dr. G Rajeshkumar obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 2010 and his Master of Engineering at Kongu Engineering College in 2012 with a Gold Medal. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2017. He is at PSG iTECH since 2017 and is presently a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is presently carrying out research in Polymer and Metal Matrix Composites, Mechanism of Needle Insertion in Soft Tissues, Tribology and Vibrations. He has published about 59 peer reviewed International Journal papers, 21 Book chapters, 40 International and National conference proceedings and a text book. He has also edited one book titled "Bast Fibers and their Composites" and two proceedings titled "Materials, Design and Manufacturing for Sustainable Environment" and "Advances in Micro and Nano Manufacturing and Surface Engineering" which were published by Springer Nature, Singapore. He is featured in the list of Top 2% Scientists in the world published by Stanford University - US, based on the single year citation impact 2020, 2021 & 2022.  He and his research team received William Bonfield best review paper award (5000 USD) from Journal of Materials Science, Springer for the year 2022.
