Freeze-drying is technically known as cryo-desiccation. It is a dehydration process typically used to preserve a perishable material or make the material more convenient for transport. Freeze-drying works by freezing the material and then reducing the surrounding pressure to allow the frozen water in the material to sublimate directly from the solid phase to the gas phase.
A machine allowing the creation of a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, achieved using additive processes typically by laying down many thin layers of a material in succession. Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and are produced using from a 3D model or another electronic data source.

Scanning electron microscope (SEM) is a non-destructive technique that uses an electron beam to analyze surface details down to nano-scale. PSG IAS has EVO 18 model with low vacuum facility and ALTO 1000 cryo attachment for biological, hydroscopic and sensitive samples.
This is versatile rheometer capable of analyzing rheological properties of any liquid or semi-solid (parallel plate) as well as dynamic mechanical thermal analysis for fiber, film or any solid fixture under extension or torsion mode. Our MCR 102 is Attached With:
CTD 620-Convection temperature device , temp range -150°c to 620°c
CTD 180- Convection temperature device, attached with Peltier cooling, temp range -20°c to 180°c
Humidity Generator- To maintain humidity in the MCR102 5% To 95%
Impedance analyzer
Impedance is the complex ratio of the voltage to the current in an alternating current (AC) circuit. Our model has frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 MHz with 0.08% (typical ±0.045%) basic impedance measurement accuracy, 25 mΩ to 40 MΩ wide impedance measurement range (10% measurement accuracy range). Measurement parameters are |Z|, |Y|, θ, R, X, G, B, L, C, D, Q, Complex Z, Complex Y, Vac, Iac, Vdc, Idc, Built-in DC bias range: 0 V to ±40 V, 0 A to ±100 mA, 4-channel & 4-trace on 10.4 inch color LCD with touch screen.
Universal testing machine – Instron
A universal testing machine (UTM), also known as a universal tester, materials testing machine or materials test frame, is used to test the tensile strength and compressive strength of material. Our machine has three load cells (100 N, 1 kN and 10 kN) with extensometer suitable for testing fibers, yarns, composites and metals.
Bead Mill – Netzsch Laboratory Agitator Mill MINICER
A bead mill is capable of grind fine particles in liquid. Our machine has the capability to wet grind micro particles to nanoparticles and uniformly disperse in any liquid like solvents or paints. The machine has a capacity to prepare nanocomposite dispersions of 250 ml. The prepared formulations can be used for life sciences, paints and ceramics industry.
