The Driscoll Library is a place for the community to explore and share books and information. We have a collection of over 20,000 titles, ranging from picture books and books for emerging readers, to middle grade fiction, to young adult fiction for our middle school students. In addition, we have a growing collection of ebooks and audiobooks, as well as access to online encyclopedias and databases for research.
In addition to regular library classes, special events each year include the book fair, the Mock Caldecott program (K-3), and the Driscoll Student Book Award (grades 4-8).
Families: Support Your Readers!
Make reading each day important for your child. Set 30 minutes a day aside for reading.
Ask your child what book they are reading. Read aloud and enjoy books with your child.
No one is too old for picture books! If you are curious and have fun with your child’s choices, your child will enjoy books, too.
Choose a safe place at home to keep library books. Keep a plastic bag for library books in your child’s book bag.
