A simple search of the internet will give you lists of names of individuals who are officers or directors of Canadian companies who have convinced some members of the investment community including: "sophisticated" venture capitalists, private investors and members of the general public;  to invest in "so-called" Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending business, just to have the company shut down operations due to regulatory infractions, regulatory non-compliance or worse.
