Communication between school and home is a valuable tool in student learning.

We have the ability to communicate in several ways.

* You may call me at TGMS at 614-834- 6498.

* You may choose to write short notes in your child's planner/home communication book.

* We will be meeting at least once during the school year.

If you feel you need to meet at another time, please request a conference.

I will be more than happy to meet with you about your child.

I will be writing your child's communication folder/planner daily Monday-Friday. I ask that you sign your child's planner nightly. This lets me know that your child has shown you his/her planner so that you are aware of assignments and any notes that teacher's may have written for you.

I sometimes find it is necessary to send home "official papers" and other private information. I will send this type of information home in a manilla envelope addressed to "the parent(s) of _____". Please review the contents as soon as possible, and, if directed, return as soon as possible in the same envelope. If you feel that your child may not know or remember who to return the envelope to at school, please just cross out your name and write the appropriate return name on the envelope.
