My name is Felicia Douwes. I love teaching at Pleasanton Middle School. This will be my 27th year teaching and my fifth year at Pleasanton Middle.
I will be teaching 6th grade Spanish Immersion and History, Spanish 1A, and ELDII this year. I am very excited to be teaching so many new faces this year! :)
I grew up in San Diego and attended a Dual Language program where I learned in both English and Spanish. I went to college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I majored in Liberal Studies and minored in Spanish. I also received my teaching credential at Cal Poly.
I am married to a wonderful man named Wes. Our son Thatcher is in 12th grade at Foothill High School this year! We live off of Foothill Rd. with our dog, pigs, goats, and rooster.
Me llamo Felicia Douwes. Estoy muy alegre de enseñar en la escuela de Pleasanton Middle. Este será mi vigésimo séptimo año de enseñar y mi quinto año en PMS.
Estaré enseñando inmersión en español e historia en 6o, español 1A, y desarollo del idioma inglés este año.
Crecí en San Diego. En la escuela secundaria y preparatoria estaba en un programa de inmersión dual, así que estoy familiarizada con las necesidades de su niño. Fui a la universidad de Cal Poly en San Luís Obispo dónde recibí mi licenciatura en estudios liberales y español. También recibí mi credencial de enseñanza en Cal Poly.
Mi esposo se llama Wes. Nuestro hijo Thatcher está en el grado 12 en Foothill High School este año. Vivimos cerca de Foothill con nuestros animals (perro, cerdos, cabras y gallo).
