The First Day of school is 8/7
Welcome to APUSH (AP U.S. History). I am looking forward to a successful and challenging school year. My bitmoji classroom (slideshow above) will have most of the links to websites, handouts and videos that we will use for assignments, review and homework. If you need an online book, please log into CLEVER and look for the link to Achieve, which will get you the online APUSH book.
Back to School Night is 8/27 (starting at 5:15 in the Quad) (1st period starts at 5:45)
This is my main page and I will be working on communicating through this site on a regular basis. I just added my bitmoji classroom as a daily agenda and an easy place to find what we are doing today or have done in past days. A large majority of links to files, classwork, videos, handouts, power points, homework, etc. will be on my bitmoji (link above). I plan on getting videos and links up here soon to introduce you to the course and to Mrs. Rozelle (who teaches the other sections of APUSH), since the two of us will be working collaboratively on this course for all of our assignments, lectures, assessments and projects. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns. Also, feel free to join twitter and follow me @MrLipmanAPUSH (*one small thing to pay attention to, if a tweet starts with #APGOPO, then the tweet is directed at my AP GO(verment and)PO(litics) students. Sometimes I will tweet out tips, reminders or jokes, and you can always check on my tweets, even if you don't want to join twitter by clicking on "Twitter Feed" at the top of this page.
If you want to be in the loop about homework, tests, study guides and tips, please follow me on twitter or you can click on the link above to see my tweets. Reminder, if a tweet starts with #APGOPO, then that tweet is for my AP Gov students, so don't stress.

School starts on August 7th and be ready to dive into APUSH from the first day. Please look at some of the links below and familiarize yourself with some of these great resources. I would suggest looking at the Gilder Lehrman website for the short videos as a pre or post study guide for each unit. Also, Tom Richey has some videos we will be watching relating to our Unit 1, particularly his APUSH Review Playlist on youtube. The videos on Native Americans and all of the "New" France/Netherlands/Spain etc. are really great. Looking forward to a successful and enlightening year!

The FIRST Day of school is 8/7
Welcome to AP GOPO (Government and Politics). I want you to know that this is a semester long class and you will be also taking AP Econ (Macro Economics) next semester. Mr. Haubner (AP ECON teacher) and I do a shortened semester for 1st and 2nd semester, so that we each have time to review the month before AP Exams in May. We will explain more in class.
Back to School Night is 8/27 (starting at 5:15 in the Quad) (1st period starts at 5:45)
Google Classroom codes
AP GOPO (Period 1) (Semester 1) =
AP GOPO (Period 2) (Semester 1) =
Also, please join the following turnitin.com codes, too
Turnitin.com (1st Semester)
1st Sem. AP GOPO Period 1 - ID =
1st Sem. AP GOPO Period 2 - ID =
password = lipman
Also, our "shortened" first semester ends for AP GOPO and AP ECON on November 20th . We will switch classes AFTER we come back from Thanksgiving Break, which means all of you AP GOPO kids start AP Econ on December 1st and vice-versa AP Econ kids will start AP GoPo, thus the start of 2nd Semester
Hello, Class of 2026,
NO SUMMER HOMEWORK. However, this course moves faster than APUSH. I will be providing the AMSCO review books, so you do NOT need to go and buy a copy. The exam was redesigned a few years ago, so if you do buy any review materials, make sure it is from 2019 or later, because older review books will not help.
If you want to be in the loop about homework, tests, study guides and tips, please follow me on twitter or you can click on the link above to see my tweets. Reminder, if a tweet starts with #APGOPO, then that tweet is for you, but IF it does not start with any hashtag, then the tweet is for my APUSH kids, so don't stress.

Also, know that you will either have my course 1st Semester or 2nd Semester, but Mr. Haubner and myself have an altered schedule to help you review in April and May for the exams.
AP GOPO Exam on May 5th, 2026 Tuesday/afternoon
AP ECON (Macro) Exam on May 8th, 2026 Friday/afternoon
I am looking forward to a great year with all of you.
