Introductory Rowing Program 2018 & January Rowing Camp 2019

    • An introductory rowing program is being offered to all students in Years 8 - 11 in Term 3 of 2018.
    • We invite new rowers to join this year's Introductory Rowing Program and experience the fun and challenge of rowing as a competitive sport.
    • These sessions are provided for those girls who are considering the possibility of joining the rowing program in the 2018 - 2019 season.
    • The full rowing program commences in the first week of the Term 4, 2018 and concludes at the end of Term 1, 2019. It involves training three times per week (two mid week sessions and one Saturday session).
    • There will also be participation in Regattas on Saturdays throughout that time.
    • It will consist of one training day in Melbourne based at Melbourne Girls’ College (MGC), followed by a 2 night stay in Geelong with accommodation at Geelong Grammar School.
    • The camp allows the girls to complete an intense block of training where they are able to improve their technique and fitness on the course where The Head of School Girls Regatta is held.

Please see the documents below and contact Mr Matt Moon in the PLC Health, PE & Sport Department if you have would like further information regarding this program.
