AP courses offer students the opportunity to earn college credit upon successful completion of their course and AP Examination. Students interested in taking one of our 15+ AP courses should speak with their school counselor during registration in the Spring. Students must sign the AP Policy Agreement upon enrolling.
To receive college credit for their AP courses, students must sit for their course's AP examination in the Spring, held between May 3, 2021 and May 14, 2021. Credit is determined by individual universities, and families should contact the college admissions office for information on accepted scores.
Registration is required for the AP exams and must be completed in October. The cost is $95 per exam with fee-reductions for students who receive free or reduced lunch.
Berkshire Community College's Bridge to College program offers one college course, free of charge, to Berkshire County high school seniors.
There are also concurrent courses offered at Taconic High School that are taught by Taconic High School teachers and allow students to earn both high school AND college credit.
Students may also enroll in dual enrollment courses at BCC in which the student is responsible for the cost of tuition, fees, and books. Students may enroll in any course for which they meet prerequisite requirements set by the college. Please review BCC's Course Catalog for available courses.
*Students with a GPA below 80, or those wishing to take a BCC math course, may be required by BCC to take the ACCUPLACER Exam before enrolling*
