This is a performance-based class. It is expected that when you are in class, you are participating in the rehearsal (whether alone or with the group). Therefore, class attendance is very important. If a student is absent from school, that student will receive a zero for their class participation grade. The zero(s) will be averaged with the other daily grades. It is the responsibility of the student who is absent from school to request and complete make up work for missed time.
Students and parents are REQUIRED to complete the Parent Contact Form indicating that you have received and agree to the choral calendar, read the syllabus and grading policy and understand the requirements for success in the choral program at Bowie High School.
