Medical and Attendance -

Credit cannot be given for work Not completed

Medical Notes and Modified physical education -

A Parent note does not excuse the student from dressing or participating in physical education. Parent Medical notes will allow the students to Modify their activity to a level in which they can safely participate and still earn credit for the work completed. A Doctor’s note may excuse a student from physical education participation completely. Any student not participating must make up the missed work or complete an alternative assignment. It is highly recommended, if possible, that you ask the doctor for Modified physical education or a list of limitations; so the student can continue to participate safely at their own level in class.

Absences and Make up work -

PJHS PE make-ups

Mr. Tucker's At Home Make-up PE

All classes that a student misses or, in which they are not able to participate, must be made up to earn credit (points).

Students are encouraged to talk to Mr. Tucker directly to find out what they missed and exactly what they need to make up.

PE/Makeup credit can not be given for outside activities, athletics, sports, practices, etc.

You usually can do PE makeups BEFORE an absence, but it's always best to check in with your PE teacher first

Non-Suits may NOT be made up.
