ABOUT MR. DEE

I am a lifelong Sonoma County resident who actually attended PJHS as a student too!  After finishing at Petaluma High School, I attended Santa Rosa Junior College before graduating from Sonoma State University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and my Teaching Credential.  I have been teaching Physical Education at PJHS since 2000.  In addition to teaching, I am also the Athletic Director and over the years I have coached Cross Country, Track & Field, and both Boys & Girls Basketball.

When I'm not teaching, my favorite things are traveling, hiking and photography.  Some of my favorite places I've been around the world include Iceland, Slovenia, the Highlands of Scotland, the Canadian Rockies and many of the National Parks.  I always enjoy trading travel, hiking and photography spots, stories and tips with others!
