Any exposure or practice you can get with your Spanish is fabuloso!!! Here are a few easy ideas to keep in mind as we head into el verano:
- Quizlet! - The links on this website will be available to you all summer long. Rainy day? Have some fun inside by playing your favorite Quizlet game/activity :)
- Just USE IT! - If someone says "Hey" or "Hello" to you, just say "HOLA" back! One of the hardest things about learning to speak Spanish is conquering the fear of ACTUALLY speaking it. We came so far in class this year with being comfortable in Spanish -- make it happen in real life! Even if it surprises someone, I'm sure it will make them smile :) You could also check out a book from the library in Spanish or watch a YouTube video in Spanish to USE SPANISH in real life.
- Lastly, try spelling out some Spanish words that you remember with whatever items you can find! Here are some great examples:
I miss you all very much & I can't wait until we are back together again. I will be having a baby in June, so I will not be back right away at the beginning of the school year. I look forward to the day when we are back at RPE learning & growing together every week!
