Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Roberson

Well, what is there to know about me besides the obvious, I absolutely love and enjoy teaching. I am active and feel like I always have something going on or to do. I love hanging out and simply doing anything with my family. My other habits involve gardening, reading, sports (watching and playing), being outside, hanging out with friends, trying new things, and having fun.

Now the boring stuff. I am a graduate of Londonderry High School and attended Plymouth State College and is now Plymouth State University. I have been teaching at Pelham Elementary School for 21 years. My student teaching was in a first-grade classroom with Ms. Nancy Santapaola at PES. Immediately after student teaching, I was a long term substitute in 5th grade. All at Pelham Elementary School in the same year!

I married my husband Paul in 2006 and we are proud parents of Lily (12) and Paige (9). Lily is an active, energetic, creative, smart, and very helpful big sister! Although, she does push the limits, I melt when she says "I Love You" or bats her eyes and apologizes with, "I'm sorry Mommy, I'll never do it again. I promise." Our second daughter Paige is not only sassy but she keeps us on our toes.  She loves to play with small toys and 'pretty things', dancing and singing, and soccer.

We are extremely proud parents and couldn't feel more blessed to have an amazing family! My goal for the class is to enjoy themselves and learn as much as possible! I believe that when you feel comfortable and relaxed, you are capable of learning more. If you aren't having fun and not learning, I am not doing my job correctly and you need to let me know. I am honest, flexible, and adapt lessons so everyone is learning!
