1. Principal Investigator for the MeitY sponsored project under Chips to Start up Scheme “ Design and development of UWB Hospital Asset Tracking System SoC – UHATS - The next generation communication network for asset / patient tracking in a multi-specialty Hospital environment for  improved healthcare  “ sanctioned in May 2023 , grant for Rs.86 Lakhs.

2. Principal Investigator for the DST sponsored project “ Feasibility study on the Development of an instrument for noninvasive prognosis of dengue “ sanctioned in August 2013 , grant received in March 2014 for Rs.21.21 Lakhs.(April 2014-October 2016).

3. Principal Investigator for AICTE – RPS project titled” Autonomous wireless heath monitoring    system” with sanctioned amount Rs.9 Lakhs  (2011-13).

4.  Co-Coordinator for the AICTE – MODROBS project titled ” Modernization of the Advanced Communication lab with sanctioned amount Rs. 20 Lakhs.(2013-2014)

5. Conducted three sponsorship projects two with Dept. of Science and Technology and one with JSS Medical Hospital, Mysore.

6. Established the Embedded Systems laboratory in ECE Dept under a MOU with Freescale Semiconductors, Bangalore.

7. Established the TI Innovation lab in ECE Dept. under MoU with University partner of TI. 

•  PATENT GRANTED.  " Noninvasive body fluid monitor" with Indian Patent Office, Chennai (PATENT NO: 542571 , Application No: 201741036050 dated 11/10/2017)- Published in IP website in 13.12.2019

• Recognized as a Supervisor in Pondicherry University to guide Ph.D and Completed 14 Ph.D candidates  

• Presently supervising 5 students in their research work.

• Guided more than 30 students for M.Tech dissertations.
