Sept. 21-25
Reading - We will finish unit 2 - The Middle Ages. We will read about King John, The Magna Carta, and all the changes that came from the Middle Ages. The skills we will work on are referrring back to the text for details, writing a persuasive essay, the prefix en, root word arch, and subjects/predicates.
Language - We are continuing with pronouns. We will continue to learn about a new type of pronouns: relative pronouns. The relative pronouns are who, whom, whose, which, and that,
Spelling - No spelling words at this time.
Daily Lanaguae Quiz(DOL) - We will complete DOL each morning on the paper in your child's binder and take the quiz on Friday through Google Classroom. Quizzes are only 20% of the nine weeks average.
