Reading - We will continue unit 2 - The Middle Ages. We will read about the battle that changed history and Henry II. The skills we will work on are referrring back to the text for details, writing a persuasive essay, the prefix en, root word arch, verbs/adverbs, and subjects/predicates.
Language - We are continuing with pronouns. We will learn about a new type of pronouns: relative pronouns. The relative pronouns are who, whom, whose, which, and that,
Spelling - This unit will have two spelling tests. The lists were sent home on Monday, August 31.

Daily Lanaguae Quiz(DOL) - We will complete DOL each morning on the paper in your child's binder and take the quiz on Friday through Google Classroom. Quizzes are only 20% of the nine weeks average.
