"Teachers want someone that's going to be there, that's going to help them for the duration, not a fly-by-night program that's here today and gone tomorrow," (Lynn Barnes, Instructional Coach, Pathways to Success).
While Professional Development is important for our teachers, they need support from outside their classroom with someone who can help them plan and implement current teaching practices which are effective and efficient. The role of the Instructional Coach is to do just that. An Instructional Coach helps teachers and students hone their skills as both learners and teachers of others.
