Grading

Grading

Students will be grading TWICE a year under the new report card grading system. We have chosen twice a year so that we have more time to gather student work, especially in the first marking period. Depending on their grade, students will be graded on their achievement and/or on their effort.

Demonstrates knowledge of objectives (achievement)

Graded using standard marks: 4, 3, 2, 1

Demonstrates cooperation and participates actively (effort)

Graded using characteristic marks: +, ✓, -
