Swim

The swim is a triangular course, swimming COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. The race will have an in-water start.  The swim caps (provided in race package) must be worn throughout the entire swim course to ensure safety of all athletes. The course will be patrolled by a motorized boat and kayaks; certified lifeguards and first aid will be onsite. There will be mats to facilitate water exit.

There will be a buoy in the water at the start, please stay behind it for the start.

The try-a-tri distance is 300M, ONE YELLOW LOOP

The Sprint distance swim is 750M, ONE ORANGE LOOP

Swim cut-off:  8:40 am

The 1 lap swim is a triangular course, swimming counter clockwise. The swim is an in-water start marked by bouys. The swim caps (provided in race package) must be worn throughout the entire swim course to ensure safety of all athletes during this time. After a warm-up swim, all swimmers will be asked to exit the water and line up at course entry zone to be counted by the volunteers/lifeguards prior to re-entry for the race.

You may need footwear to run from the swim exit to the bike transition as you will have to run 360 meters on a groomed trail, however there will be mats on the trail.

Swim security for athletes will be maintained at the highest level from morning entry to race transition until the return from the swim.

Any athletes electing not to race must notify a race official immediately.

Above all, the safety of each swimmer is our prime concern. A full sweep of the course will be made directly behind the last swimmer exiting the water.
