Hello, my name is Paul Ebert, and I have been teaching Art at Paoli since the Fall of 1999. I am originally from Dubois, IN where I grew up on a small farm. I graduated high school from Northeast Dubois High School and went to college at the University of Southern Indiana where I earned my bachelor of science degree in K-12 art education. Some of my earliest memories when I started getting into art was when I was a young kid, and I would have my mom tear long sheets of Reynolds freezer wrap to draw on. I had the most fun using up all that paper. Today, I enjoy oil painting in my free time. I love how you can paint one day and come back the next and the paint will still be wet.
I enjoy doing other things as well. I like to play board games with my friends on weekends or when the weather is nice to be outside. I also like to travel. I've been overseas to Paris, Venice, and Florence. I've also been to much of the U.S., but some of my favorite places are New York and Las Vegas.
One of my favorite things about teaching art is I get to see students' art skills progress from when they start Kindergarten all the way to 6th grade. It's amazing how they improve over the years.
