Introduction to Algebra

Welcome to Introduction to Algebra! It's going to be a challenging year! We will be mastering the Grade 8 Common Core Standards. The good news is: we have new textbooks aligned to the Common Core with resources needed for all of us to be successful! We will also be using some online resources such as Edmodo, a facebook education page, TenMarks, a challenging PARCC-like assessment tool, and ASSISTments. More details will be given in class. The key to success in my class? Homework completion, participation, and advocate for yourself.
