Lesson Plans

Students have 45 minutes in the library during their 6-day rotation. During this time, we have a lesson to emphasize the resources of the library and to instill a lifelong love of learning and reading. Below, you will find lesson plans for each rotation period. After each lesson, students usually have time to check out books, enjoy the resources of the library or read independently.

Each lesson plan spans the course of a six-day rotation. In the event of cancelled school, special program or school activity, the dates may be subject to change.

Because of school closures at this time, library lesson plans will be modified to fit the online activities. Please view weekly activities each week in the Online Activities tab for virtual library lessons.
