Academic Support Center Content Area Tutoring

Students using ASC tutoring are expected to:

• • • Bring texts, notes, assignments and--most of all--your questions.

    • Attend class regularly. You must be currently enrolled in the course to receive tutoring.

    • Complete all assigned reading prior to the tutoring appointment. 

    • Attempt the homework questions or assignment before you meet with your tutor. 

    • Do not expect the tutor to do your homework.  Tutors work with students; they don't do the work for students.

    • Arrive to appointments on time.  If necessary, please cancel at least two hours before the scheduled time. 

    • I understand that I may be dropped from receiving a tutor if I do not comply with the above.
