Scam Warning

In the last several weeks, several folks have been getting message from Microsoft or Windows Defender or their antivirus software saying they are infected.   That their systems may be automatically shut down or some other event will take place.   Sometimes a loud screeching noise happens or a voice keeps repeating a message to call that number

The message says to call Microsoft for help and guess what they give you the number to call.   Folks this is a scam.   Attached are the latest version of this attack.   But the bad guys keep changing it.  

But a key for these attacks is fear and the need for you to do something immediately.   Do nothing for an hour, call a person who you trust and can help.

The minute somebody is asking for money, credit card info, for you to buy a gift card is usually a sign of a bad guy.
